The Watts/ Willowbrook Wellness Center (Pearl Ella Johnson Wellness Center) is conveniently located two blocks south of the 105 (Century) freeway in South Los Angeles.

The Pearl Ella Johnson (PEJ) Wellness Center serves adult, (18-59 years of age) mental health clients by providing empathetic and caring client run services. Medication management, some groups and therapy is provided by professional psychiatric and case management staff. The PEJ Wellness Center sponsors interesting, informative and fun activities and groups that emphasize overall wellness and recovery, healthy living, and community integration. PEJ Wellness Center services are developed primarily, though not exclusively, for clients who are further along in their mental health recovery.

The services offered at the PEJ Wellness Center are designed to offer mental health treatment options to clients who no longer need the intensive type services offered by traditional adult outpatient clinics or case management programs. PEJ Wellness Center clients are ready to take increasing responsibility for their own continued growth, wellness, recovery and mental health maintenance.

At the Pearl Ella Johnson Wellness Center clients will find socialization, friendship, and peers ready to assist them in achieving wellness goals and coping with the stressors of daily life. In addition, the Pearl Ella Johnson Wellness Center site can offer clients specialized support for their education and employment needs.
