VISTA WALK-IN ASSESSMENT
CENTER (WIAC) DESCRIPTION
The Vista WIAC is
conveniently located in North San Diego County a short distance from the 78
freeway.
The Exodus
Recovery WIAC provides services to adults 18 and older who are experiencing a
mental health crisis or are in need of urgent mental health services.
Individuals who might otherwise present at an emergency room for mental health
services can be seen here. WIAC services are provided for those individuals who
have Medi-cal and those who are indigent.
The Exodus WIAC
offers comprehensive care by an interdisciplinary team of MD’s, Nurse
Practioners, R.N.’s, and Therapists. Services such as medication support,
crisis intervention, short term case management, referrals to community programs
and resources, and discharge planning are all included in the standard of care
delivered at the Exodus Walk- In Assessment Center.
